Transliteration

yathājyeṣṭhaṃ yathāśreṣṭhaṃ prakṣālya caraṇau tataḥ | śāstroktena vidhānena pradadau dvijasattamāḥ

Translation

それから、年長と徳の優劣に従う正しい順序で彼らの足を洗い、聖典（シャーストラ）の説く作法に則って、二度生まれの中でも最勝の者たちに施しを捧げた。
