etasmātkāraṇālliṃgaṃ pūjyate'tra surāsuraiḥ | harasya cottamāṃgāni parityajya viśeṣataḥ

Translation

このゆえにこそ、ここにあるリンガは神々とアスラの双方に礼拝される。とりわけ、ハラ（シヴァ）の他の至高の相や肢体をひとまず措き、このリンガを崇敬するのである。
