ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | śrutaṃ kumāracaritamaviśeṣaṃ sumaṃgalam | asmābhiśca mahābhāgakiṃcitpṛcchāmahe vayam

聖仙たちは言った。「われらは、吉祥にして余すところなく語られたクマーラの御事績を聞き終えた。いま、きわめて幸いなる御方よ、われらは少しくお尋ね申したい。」
