kālakūṭācca nūnaṃ hi rakṣitāḥ smo na cānyathā | bhasmāsurācca sarveśa tvayā trātā na saṃśayaḥ
Devas
Tirtha: Kedāra/Kedāranātha
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śiva (Sarveśa)
Scene: Devas emphatically testify that only Śiva saved them from the Kālakūṭa poison and from Bhasmāsura; Śiva appears as Nīlakaṇṭha, serene yet awe-inspiring, with devas in relieved praise.
Śiva is the ultimate refuge in calamity—poison, demons, and fear are overcome by His grace.
The Kedāra sacred narrative context; no specific tīrtha is named in the verse.
None; it is recollection of Śiva’s saving deeds as devotional argument.
