तस्मात्सदाशिवः पूज्यः सर्वैरेवमनीषिभिः । पूजनीयो हि संपूज्यो ह्यर्चनीयः सदाशिवः
tasmātsadāśivaḥ pūjyaḥ sarvairevamanīṣibhiḥ | pūjanīyo hi saṃpūjyo hyarcanīyaḥ sadāśivaḥ
ゆえに、賢明で識別あるすべての人々はサダーシヴァを礼拝すべきである。まことに、礼拝に真に値するのはサダーシヴァのみ—完全に尊崇され、供物をもって讃えられるべき御方である。
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) to the Ṛṣis
Tirtha: Kedāra
Type: kshetra
Listener: wise listeners/dvijāḥ
Scene: A contemplative scene: sages and pilgrims in a Himalayan temple courtyard, all turning toward the liṅga; the word ‘Sadāśiva’ is visualized as an eternal, calm radiance pervading the space.
The verse teaches that the highest and most complete object of worship is Sadāśiva, approached with reverence and ritual devotion.
The broader context is the Kedārakhaṇḍa, associated with Kedāra/Kedārnātha and Śiva’s sacred geography in the Himalayas, though this verse itself is doctrinal praise.
It prescribes pūjā/arcana—worship and adoration of Sadāśiva with due offerings and complete veneration.
