Transliteration

mārkaṃḍeya iti khyātastaṃ gatvā pṛccha saṃśayam | tathopadiṣṭastairgatvā tatra taṃ munipuṃgavam

Translation

彼は「マーラカンデーヤ」として名高い——その聖仙のもとへ赴き、汝の疑いを問え。彼らにそのように教えられて、彼はそこへ行き、牟尼の中の雄牛ともいうべき卓越した聖者にまみえた。
