ऊर्ध्वकेशश्चोर्ध्वरोमा पितरौ प्रणतोऽब्रवीत् । प्रणमामि युवां चोभौ जातस्य पितरौ गुरू
ūrdhvakeśaścordhvaromā pitarau praṇato'bravīt | praṇamāmi yuvāṃ cobhau jātasya pitarau gurū
髪は逆立ち、体毛も粟立つままに、彼は父母に礼拝して言った。「生まれ出でたるゆえ、我は汝ら二人に敬礼する――我が父母にして、尊ぶべき गुरु（師）よ。」
