मामुवाच सदा पुत्र पितॄणां भक्तिकृद्भव । सोऽहं मातुर्वचः श्रुत्वा मेरुपादात्समागतः
māmuvāca sadā putra pitṝṇāṃ bhaktikṛdbhava | so'haṃ māturvacaḥ śrutvā merupādātsamāgataḥ
母はいつもわたしに言いました。「子よ、ピトリ（祖霊）に対して篤きバクティを捧げる者となりなさい。」ゆえに母の言葉を聞き、メル山の麓よりここへ参りました。
