Brahmā
Listener: (Contextual) sages; within story: Brahmā addresses the tīrthas
Scene: Brahmā, four-faced, seated on a lotus, hands in añjali, addressing an assembly of personified tīrthas, requesting them to proclaim their own boundless greatness.
All tīrthas are honored as possessing vast sacred power; humility and mutual reverence are integral to dharma.
No single site yet; the verse affirms the immeasurable greatness of all tīrthas collectively.
No direct rite; it frames a dharmic inquiry where tīrthas are invited to state their mahātmya before a decision on offering.
