कमठ उवाच । गुरवे प्राङ्नमस्कृत्य धर्माय तदनंतरम् । छंदोगीतममुं प्रश्नं शक्त्या वक्ष्यामि ते द्विज
kamaṭha uvāca | gurave prāṅnamaskṛtya dharmāya tadanaṃtaram | chaṃdogītamamuṃ praśnaṃ śaktyā vakṣyāmi te dvija
カマタは言った。「まず師（グル）に礼拝し、ついでダルマに礼拝する。そののち、聖なる韻律に歌われたこの問いに、我が力の及ぶかぎり答えよう、ブラーフマナよ。」
