bahūdake ca yaḥ snātvā saptamyāṃ māghamāsake | dadyātpiṃḍaṃ pitṝṇāṃ ca te'kṣyāṃ tṛptimāpnuyuḥ

さらに、マーガ月の第七日（サプタミー）にバフーダカで沐浴し、祖霊（ピトリ）にピンダを供える者があれば、その祖先は不滅の満足を得る。
