Transliteration

aiśvaryamadapāpiṣṭhā mahāmadyamadādayaḥ | aiśvaryamadamatto hi nā patitvā hi mādyati

Translation

権勢の酔いは最も罪深い酔いである。酒に酔うなどの大いなる酔いでさえ、それより軽い。王権に酔い狂う者は、没落してなお、醒めることがない。
