paścime dinakāle hi prāṅmukhaḥ prāñjaliḥ śuciḥ | caturasre maṃḍale'nye kṛtvā caiva samau karau

日が傾く頃（西の時刻）に、身を清め、東に向かって合掌（アンジャリ）せよ。さらに別に方形のマンダラを作り、両手を等しく整えて置くべし、作法のとおりに。
