सत्यं वाच्यं नित्यमैत्रेण भाव्यं कार्यं त्याज्यं नित्यमायासकारि । लोकेऽमुष्मिन्यद्दिनं स्यात्तथास्मिन्नात्मा योगे येजनीयो गभीरैः
satyaṃ vācyaṃ nityamaitreṇa bhāvyaṃ kāryaṃ tyājyaṃ nityamāyāsakāri | loke'muṣminyaddinaṃ syāttathāsminnātmā yoge yejanīyo gabhīraiḥ
真実は常に語るべし。つねに親愛の情を養い、絶えず疲労と動揺を生む行いは捨つべし。この世で一日がいかに過ぎるかが、かくのごとく来世を形づくる—ゆえに賢者は深きヨーガによって内なる自己を礼拝すべし。
