Transliteration

kuśodakādgaṃdhajalaṃ tasmāttīrthodakaṃ varam | tīrthebhyaśca jalaṃ darśe mahīsāgarasaṃbhavam

Translation

クシャの水よりも香水が勝れ、さらにそれよりもティールタ（聖なる渡し場）の水が尊い。しかも諸ティールタの水にも勝るのは、新月の日に現れ、大地と海より生じた水である。
