asyāmeva tithau somaḥ śivayogaśca taitilam | ṣaḍyogaḥ śakticchidreyo dinaṃ rudraṃ japanniśi | snātvātra saśarīro vai rudralokaṃ vrajīṣyati
Maheśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Śakticchidra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Skanda
Scene: A devotee at Śakticchidra: by day chanting Rudra-mantras with rosary; by night keeping vigil with lamps before Kapāleśvara and Devī; the moon overhead signifies Soma; subtle celestial geometry hints at yogas; final vision of Rudra-loka ascent.
When time (tithi-yoga) and place (tīrtha) align, concentrated japa, worship, and bathing are said to yield the highest Śaiva goal.
Śakticchidra, in the proximity of Kapāleśvara, presented as exceptionally potent.
On the specified tithi with Śiva-yoga: observe sesame-rite, perform Rudra-japa by day, worship by night, and bathe at the tīrtha.
