पूजां च जागरं कृत्वा मुच्येत्पारुष्यपापतः । इत्याह स्कंदप्रीत्यर्थं स्वयं तत्र महेश्वरः
pūjāṃ ca jāgaraṃ kṛtvā mucyetpāruṣyapāpataḥ | ityāha skaṃdaprītyarthaṃ svayaṃ tatra maheśvaraḥ
そして供養をなし、夜の覚醒の行（ジャーガラ）を修すれば、粗暴・残忍の罪より解き放たれる。かくしてその場にて、スカンダを喜ばせんがため、マヘーシュヴァラ自らが語られた。
