Transliteration

daitya uvāca | patnyarthe'haṃ kariṣyāmi tapo ghoraṃ pitāmaha | putrārthamudyataścāhaṃ yaḥ syādgīrvāṇadarpahā

Translation

ダイティヤは言った。「妻を得るために、祖父なる御方よ、私は苛烈な苦行を行いましょう。さらに私は、神々の驕りを打ち砕く一子を得ると固く決意しております。」
