विवादे च समुत्पन्ने अपराधी च यो मतः । जलहस्तः सदा वाच्यो महीसागरसंगमे
vivāde ca samutpanne aparādhī ca yo mataḥ | jalahastaḥ sadā vācyo mahīsāgarasaṃgame
争いが起こり、ある者が罪ある者と見なされたなら、マヒー河と大海の合流において、常に「水の手」(ジャラ・ハスタ)の神聖な試験を行わせ、真偽を確かめるべきである。
