Skanda (deduced; Kāśīkhaṇḍa commonly Skanda speaking to Agastya)
Tirtha: Kāśī / Avimukta-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: Gaṇeśa as a radiant sunbeam illuminating a lotus in Pārvatī’s heart; humble devotees sing hymns; shattered obstacles lie like broken stones; the devotees’ names are proclaimed in the city—symbolized by banners or town-criers—yet the ‘true wonder’ is their inner transformation into genuine excellence.
Praise offered with humility brings both inner clearing of obstacles and outer recognition—yet the higher marvel is the transformation of the devotee’s stature.
Kāśī is the textual setting; the verse supports the Mahātmya of devotional practice within the Kāśī-khaṇḍa.
Stuti (hymnic praise) is the implied practice; no specific vrata or pilgrimage step is stated in this verse.
