Transliteration

āstāṃ gurukathā dūraṃ yo'nyasyāpi laghorapi | omityuktvā na kurute kāryaṃ sotha vrajatyadhaḥ

Translation

師のことはさておき、他人のささやかな頼みであっても「はい」と答えておきながら務めを果たさぬ者は、下へと堕ち、破滅へ向かう。
