agastya uvāca | dharmatīrthasya māhātmyaṃ kīdṛgdevena śaṃbhunā | skaṃda devyai samākhyātaṃ tadākhyāhi kṛpāṃ kuru
アガスティヤは言った。「おおスカンダよ、慈悲をもって語り給え。主シャンブ（シヴァ）が女神に説かれたダルマティールタの偉大さはいかなるものか。その由来を述べ、憐れみを垂れよ。」
