誓願の終わりに、誓戒を守る者は師(アーチャーリヤ)に二体の御像(プラティマー)を捧げるべきである。この儀礼において一度これを行えば、その者は所作已了となり、誓願において真に成就する。
Skanda (contextual attribution within Kāśīkhaṇḍa dialogues)
Tirtha: Kāśī (Viśveśvara-kṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Ṛṣis in Naimiṣāraṇya frame
Scene: At the vow’s conclusion in Kāśī, the vrati offers two consecrated icons to the ācārya, who blesses the devotee, signifying completion and spiritual accomplishment.
Respect for the ācārya and completion of vows through prescribed charity is integral to dharma.
The instruction belongs to the Kāśī Khaṇḍa milieu, but the verse itself is a general vrata-vidhi teaching.
At vrata completion, give two pratimās to the ācārya as a concluding offering.
