यं न वेदा विदुः सम्यङ्न च तौ वेदपूरुषौ । ततोपि वरयोग्योस्मि तन्नाथ प्रार्थयाम्यहम्
yaṃ na vedā viduḥ samyaṅna ca tau vedapūruṣau | tatopi varayogyosmi tannātha prārthayāmyaham
「ヴェーダさえも正しく知り尽くせず、あの二人の『ヴェーダの人』すら及ばぬお方。それでも私はなお、恩寵を願い求めるに足ります。ゆえに主よ、ここに願いを申し上げます。」
