tadālāpāmṛtadhayau na me śabdagrahau priye | prāṇeśvari tadārabhya syātāṃ śabdāṃtaragrahau

Translation

愛しき人よ――わが命の主よ――彼女の語らいという甘露を奪われて以来、わたしの耳はもはや真に音を受け取らぬ。あの時より、彼女の声なき「ほかの音」ばかりを掴むのだ。
