Ravi (Sūrya)
Tirtha: Kāśī-kṣetra (Bhavānī-śaraṇya-bhāva)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Bhavānī (Devī)
Scene: A devotee, weighed down by sorrow, pleads ‘Mother Bhavānī’; Devī’s face softens and her compassionate sidelong glance falls like a beam of light, lifting the burden; those touched by that glance appear honored and radiant.
Śaraṇāgati (taking refuge) in the Mother is the cure for suffering; grace is experienced as her compassionate glance.
Kāśī, where devotion to Bhavānī/Śakti is upheld as a direct refuge and bestower of auspiciousness.
No formal rite is stated; the teaching centers on refuge, prayer, and seeking Devī’s grace.
