कृतांतरायो न पठेद्भेकाखु श्वाहि बभ्रुभिः । भूताष्टम्योः पंचदश्योर्ब्रह्मचारी सदा भवेत्

Transliteration

kṛtāṃtarāyo na paṭhedbhekākhu śvāhi babhrubhiḥ | bhūtāṣṭamyoḥ paṃcadaśyorbrahmacārī sadā bhavet

Translation

間が乱れているときは、蛙・鼠・犬・蛇・バーブルー（bābhrū、マングース）のいる中で誦してはならない。ブータ（Bhūtā）日とアシュタミー（Aṣṭamī）日、そして第十五ティティ（tithi）には、学生は常にブラフマチャリヤ（brahmacarya）に堅く住すべし。
