जीर्णं कमंडलुं दंडमुपवीताजिने अपि । अप्स्वेव तानि निक्षिप्य गृह्णीतान्यच्च मंत्रवत्
jīrṇaṃ kamaṃḍaluṃ daṃḍamupavītājine api | apsveva tāni nikṣipya gṛhṇītānyacca maṃtravat
たとえ水壺（カマンダル）、杖（ダンダ）、聖紐（ウパヴィータ）、鹿皮（アジナ）が古びても、それらを水に沈め、しかる後に適切なマントラを唱えつつ、代わりのものを受け取るべきである。
