Skanda (deduced; Kāśīkhaṇḍa commonly Skanda speaking to Agastya)
Scene: A fasting devotee on ekādaśī sips three palmfuls; within the heart-lotus, three small radiant liṅgas appear aligned, signifying inner sanctification.
Outer ritual restraint (fasting) combined with sanctified intake (ritual sips) is said to awaken inner realization of Śiva.
The verse speaks of observance ‘here’ in the ongoing Kāśī tīrtha narrative of Adhyāya 33.
Upavāsa on Ekādaśī and drinking/sipping three culukas (three palmfuls).
