दंडवार्ता सदा यत्र कृतसंन्यासकर्मणाम् । मार्गणाश्चापकेष्वेव भिक्षुका ब्रह्मचारिणः
daṃḍavārtā sadā yatra kṛtasaṃnyāsakarmaṇām | mārgaṇāścāpakeṣveva bhikṣukā brahmacāriṇaḥ
そこでは、出家の杖(ダンダ)についての語らいが、遁世の行を担った者たちの間に常にある。乞食により生きるブラフマチャーリンも、ただ戒律を守る求道者として、正しい道を志している者のみが見られる。
