これぞ主の王威ある御姿。半月を飾りとして戴き、喉はタマーラ樹のごとく深く黒く、額の輝く眼は閃光を放つ。

Tirtha: Viśveśvara (Kāśī)
Type: temple
Scene: A frontal, majestic Śiva form: crescent moon set in matted hair, throat dark as tamāla, and a brilliant third eye on the forehead emitting a subtle radiance; regal yet compassionate presence suitable for temple darśana.
The transcendent Lord also reveals a compassionate, worship-worthy form, enabling devotion and direct remembrance.
Kāśī (Vārāṇasī) is the implied sacred landscape in the Kāśī Khaṇḍa, where Śiva’s presence is celebrated as immediate and salvific.
No explicit rite is stated; the verse supports dhyāna (meditative visualization) and pūjā through iconographic detail.
