Gaṇas (attendants of Śiva)
Tirtha: Budheśvara (Kāśī)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Implied pilgrims/audience within the narrative frame
Scene: Two Gaṇas proclaim the glory of Budheśvara; behind them the liṅga shrine glows. A devotee stands at the edge of a vast ocean symbolizing saṃsāra, held back by a radiant shield of awakened intelligence.
Worship in Kāśī refines intelligence and becomes a means to overcome saṃsāra, leading to auspicious posthumous states.
Budheśvara in Kāśī, praised as a liberative shrine granting wisdom and auspicious destiny.
Samarcana (devout worship/arcana) of Budheśvara is recommended as the efficacious act.
