अश्वत्थसेकं ये कुर्युः पथि पादपरोपकाः । विश्रामशालाकर्तारः श्रांतसंतापनोदकाः
aśvatthasekaṃ ye kuryuḥ pathi pādaparopakāḥ | viśrāmaśālākartāraḥ śrāṃtasaṃtāpanodakāḥ
道行く人のために路傍のアシュヴァッタ樹に水を注ぎ、休息の舎を建て、疲れと暑さに苦しむ者の熱悩を鎮める水を施す人々—その者こそ真の慈善を行う。
