asakṛccintayāmāsa kiṃ liṃgaṃ kṣiprasiddhidam | yatra niścalatāmeti tapastanayakāmyayā

彼は幾度も思い巡らした。「いかなるリンガが速やかな成就を授けるのか。どこでタパス（苦行）によって、子を願うための揺るがぬ定住を得られるのか。」
