Transliteration

yamadūtāḥ palāyaṃte tāmālokya pativratām | tapanastapyate nūnaṃ dahanopi ca dahyate

Translation

その貞節の妻（パティヴラター）を見てヤマの使者たちは逃げ去る。まことに太陽さえ灼かれ、火でさえも彼女の貞徳の光に焼かれるという。
