भूताष्टम्योः पञ्चदश्योर्ब्रह्मचारी सदा भवेत् । अनायुष्यकरं चेह परदारोपसर्पणम् । तस्मात्तद्दूरतस्त्याज्य वैरिणां चोपसेवनम्

Transliteration

bhūtāṣṭamyoḥ pañcadaśyorbrahmacārī sadā bhavet | anāyuṣyakaraṃ ceha paradāropasarpaṇam | tasmāttaddūratastyājya vairiṇāṃ copasevanam

Translation

ブータाष्टमी（Bhūtāṣṭamī）と第十五日（pañcadaśī）には、常に梵行（brahmacarya）に堅く住すべし。この世において他人の妻に近づくことは寿命を損なう因となる。ゆえにそれを遠くより捨て、また敵に交わり仕えることも捨てよ。
