hanumānuvāca | matsvarūpaṃ mahākāyaṃ na cakṣurviṣayaṃ kalau | tejorāśimayaṃ divyamiti jānaṃtu vāḍavāḥ
Hanumān
Tirtha: Dharmāraṇya
Type: kshetra
Listener: viprāḥ (brāhmaṇas/sages)
Scene: Hanumān speaks with restrained majesty: his true form is immense and not ordinarily visible in Kali; he is envisioned as a divine mass of light, with sages listening in hushed awe.
In Kali-yuga, divine reality is grasped more through faith, purity, and revelation than through ordinary sensory perception.
No tīrtha is mentioned; the verse is theological, describing Hanumān’s transcendent nature.
None explicitly; the teaching implies bhakti and inner refinement to approach divine darśana.
