अथर्वांगिरसश्चैव वालखिल्या मरीचिपाः । मनोंऽतरिक्षं विद्याश्व वायुस्तेजो जलं मही
atharvāṃgirasaścaiva vālakhilyā marīcipāḥ | manoṃ'tarikṣaṃ vidyāśva vāyustejo jalaṃ mahī
そこにはアタルヴァン（Atharvan）とアンギラス族（Aṅgirases）があり、またヴァーラキリヤ（Vālakhilyas）とマリーチパ（Marīcipas）もいた。さらに、心（マナス）、中空、知、馬、風、火、水、地も、人格化された力として उपस्थितしていた。
