तस्मादपींद्रसेनाख्यस्तस्य पुत्रो महाबलः । चंद्रांगदोस्मि नाम्नाहं नवोढः श्वशुरालये । विहरन्यमुनातोये निमग्नो देवचोदितः
tasmādapīṃdrasenākhyastasya putro mahābalaḥ | caṃdrāṃgadosmi nāmnāhaṃ navoḍhaḥ śvaśurālaye | viharanyamunātoye nimagno devacoditaḥ
「その王よりインドラセーナが生まれ、力において大いなる者となった。私はその子で、名をチャンドラーンガダという。新婚にして舅の家に滞在していた折、ヤムナーの水に戯れているうちに、神々の定めに促されて水底へ沈められた。」
