Transliteration

ṛgvedamaṣṭame varṣe navame yajuṣāṃ gaṇam | daśame sāmavedaṃ ca līlayādhyagamatsudhīḥ

Translation

八歳でリグ・ヴェーダを究め、九歳でヤジュル・ヴェーダの諸集を学び、十歳でサーマ・ヴェーダをも会得した。あの賢者は戯れのごとく易々と修めたのである。
