Transliteration

śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | hanta te kathayiṣyāmi vicitraṃ yatpurātanam | vṛttaṃ svargasabhāmadhye ṛṣīṇāṃ bhāvitātmanām

Translation

聖マールカンデーヤは言った。「さあ、汝に語ろう、奇しくも古（いにしえ）なる物語を——天界スヴァルガの सभा（集会殿）にて、心を修めたリシたちの中で起こった出来事を。」
