मासि चाश्वयुजे तत्र शुक्लपक्षे चतुर्दशीम् । उपोष्य प्रयतः स्नातस्तर्पयेत्पितृदेवताः
māsi cāśvayuje tatra śuklapakṣe caturdaśīm | upoṣya prayataḥ snātastarpayetpitṛdevatāḥ
またそこで、アーシュヴァユジャ月の白分（明半）十四日に、斎戒して身を慎み、清らかに沐浴したのち、祖霊ピトリと諸神にタルパナ（供水）を捧げるべきである。
