अनादित्यमयं लोकं निर्वषट्कारमाकुलम् । नष्टधर्मं विजानीहि प्रकृतिस्थं कुरुष्व च । अनुग्रहं तु शाण्डिल्याः प्रार्थयाम द्विजोत्तम

「知れ、この世は日輪を失い、乱れ、聖なるヴァシャット(vaṣaṭ)の唱和も絶えた。ダルマは衰えた—それを本来の秩序へと復せよ。さらに、二度生まれの最勝者よ、シャーンディリヤー(Śāṇḍilyā)に恩寵を垂れ給えと我らは願う。」
