एतत्संस्मृत्य संस्मृत्य विमृशामि पुनःपुनः । न जाने कारणं किंचित्पृच्छन्त्याः कथयस्व मे
etatsaṃsmṛtya saṃsmṛtya vimṛśāmi punaḥpunaḥ | na jāne kāraṇaṃ kiṃcitpṛcchantyāḥ kathayasva me
これを幾度も思い返し、私は繰り返し思索している。原因が少しも分からない。ゆえに問う、どうか私に語ってほしい。

Tirtha: Revā-kṣetra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: The witness, still haunted, turns to the afflicted (or to a guide) with a direct question: ‘I don’t know the cause—tell me.’ The scene shifts from horror to earnest dialogue.
Dharma begins with honest inquiry—seeking the cause of suffering and the right remedy rather than denial.
Not named in this verse; the inquiry sets up the later identification of the Eraṇḍī-saṅgama as the transformative site.
None explicitly; the verse is an appeal for explanation that leads to subsequent rites.
