कालस्य भावो नियतिर्यदृच्छा नात्र युज्यते । भूतानि योनिः पुरुषो योगी चैषां परो ऽथ वा

Transliteration

kālasya bhāvo niyatiryadṛcchā nātra yujyate | bhūtāni yoniḥ puruṣo yogī caiṣāṃ paro 'tha vā

Translation

ここにおいて、ただ「時の作用」や宿命、あるいは偶然を、究極の原因とすることはできない。顕現した諸存在、プラクリティ（形相の胎なる原初自然）、プルシャ（個我の霊）、そしてそれらを超えると説かれるヨーギンでさえ—いずれも自ら究竟ではない（ただ至上主シヴァのみが超越の実在である）。
