Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Highlights nitya-karma and vidhi-niṣṭhā: spiritual progress depends on sustained, rule-bound worship (sthiti) rather than sporadic zeal; allows delegation (another may worship) while insisting on fidelity to prescription.
Role: nurturing
Offering: dipa
It emphasizes niyama (disciplined observance): steady, daily, and rule-aligned worship purifies the pashu (bound soul) and turns devotion into a reliable means toward Shiva’s grace and liberation.
It supports Saguna upasana through the Linga by insisting that the prescribed method (vidhi) be followed exactly—whether done personally or arranged through another—so the worship remains focused, pure, and effective.
Maintain a daily Shiva-puja vow and perform it strictly as instructed (mantra, offerings, and procedure); the key takeaway is consistency and non-deviation rather than changing methods impulsively.
