Transliteration

catvāraśca tathā vedāssetihāsapurāṇakāḥ | dharmaśāstrāṇi vidyābhirvaidikībhissamanvitāḥ

Translation

四つのヴェーダは、イティハーサとプラーナ、さらにヴェーダの学（vaidikī vidyā）を具えたダルマ・シャーストラとともに、ダルマを理解し、主のもとで解脱に至る道を知るための権威ある拠り所として確立されている。
