Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shakti Form: Annapūrṇā
Role: nurturing
Offering: naivedya
It teaches that inner purity is supported by outer discipline: eating śuddha (pure) food and especially consuming what is first offered to Shiva (prasāda) helps cleanse the mind and align the soul (paśu) toward Pati, the Lord.
Offering naivedya to Saguna Shiva (as the worshipped Linga/Deity) expresses bhakti and surrender; taking the offered remainder as prasāda is a way of receiving Shiva’s grace and sanctifying daily life through ritual communion.
Perform naivedya (food offering) to Shiva and then partake of the prasāda (the remainder) with reverence; keep the meal śuddha and taken in a calm, sattvic manner as part of regular Shiva-pūjā discipline.
