अंगुलैः कथ्यते सद्भिश्चतुर्विंशतिभिः करः । मेखलानां त्रयं वापि द्वयमेकमथापि वा
aṃgulaiḥ kathyate sadbhiścaturviṃśatibhiḥ karaḥ | mekhalānāṃ trayaṃ vāpi dvayamekamathāpi vā
徳ある者たちは、「手」（カラ）は二十四アングラ（指幅）で量ると説く。聖なる腰帯（メーカラー）は、三条でも、二条でも、あるいは一条でもよい。
