The verse highlights the grandeur of devotional worship where sound (nāda) and auspicious offerings are employed to honor Lord Shiva, expressing bhakti through sacred celebration and reverence.
Such instruments are used in temple-style, Saguna worship—accompanying ārati, stuti, and utsava—where the Linga is adored with external rituals that steady the mind and turn attention toward Shiva as Pati (the Lord).
It suggests engaging in devotional kīrtana and rhythmic chanting—especially japa of the Panchākṣarī mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya)—using sound as a support for concentration and reverence during Shiva-pūjā.
